Description

Ultra-light and compact quickdraws, only 56 g in the 12 cm version!

Ideal for multipitch and sport climbing, where weight makes the difference. Equipped with extremely compact sized hot forged carabiners with a wire gate for easy rope insertion. Thanks to hot forging, the light and crafted design, it allows for a better grip during maneuvers. Equipped with a new, durable and extremely light 10 mm Dyneema sling and a rubber fastener FIXIT on the lower carabiner that prevents accidental rotation during use and protects the sling from wear and tear.
Available lengths: 12 – 17 – 22 cm.

Additional Information

There are 3 ways manufactures typically measure carabiner strength. Major axis strength, gate open strength, and minor axis strength. Major axis is along the spine, like I described above. Gate open means loaded from two points (the elbows) while the gate is literally open. Minor axis is when the carabiner’s load is pulling on the long sides of the carabiner. This means the gate is under force, making it the weakest configuration to use on a carabiner.

All Climbing Technology carabiners are individually tested at 12 KN.
